Thanks for the thread.I had the very same issue and was quite perplexed to not hear any voice while I could hear the music and all the other sounds from the game.I also downloaded the additional audio file from the eshop, in french for me.
Are you playing in a non-english language? Cause you gotta download the voice files for non-english separately, at least for the physical version, so possible its like that for the digital release too, to save download space.
