Changes In My Hometown Essay: A Comparative Analysis of Past and Present

Variation is an unavoidable part of our life. People can see the evidence of changing anywhere because variation is a natural fact. Also, sometimes the differences which have been resulted in changing can be wide and distinct, other times it should be imperceptible. My hometown has been changed a lot for the last 20 years compared to when I was a child. Generally, my home town differs from today with regards to the types of change in public services, income rate, and education.

Changes In My Hometown Essay

Secondly, today my homeland is different than the past because of the once a year income for each people has increased in the last several years much time. There are many available jobs opportunities. Because there are many companies started businesses in my hometown, a lot of people involve in these companies and get sufficient salaries. Also, people in the past used to work in farms and agricultural production, most of them spent a lot of labor with less money.

In conclusion, today, my hometown is different from what it was in the past in three significant such as public services, parts finance, and education parts. Although no changing presents positive results, it is still better than the last time. In my opinion, my hometown will continue developing although that is might produce new challenges.

All things are changing, though it changes soundlessly. My hometown is a small city belongs to Jiangsu province called Suzhou which is extremely near shanghai, it only takes one hour from Suzhou to Shanghai by car. Although it is not as famous as Beijing or shanghai, everyone in China knows this wonderful place. When I was a child, I always hear my parents talk about my hometown, it has changed a lot in many ways during the past few years, it is different now and it is changing continuously these days.

The most notable change I have found is the building facilities. Suzhou has a history of 2500 years, there are many private gardens which used to be someone's house in the past. Such as the Humble Administrator's Garden, Master of the Nets Garden and Lion Grove Garden. Afterwards, these beautiful gardens are becoming famous tourist attractions in Suzhou. In the impression of my childhood, there are fewer tall buildings in my hometown. Since Suzhou is an ancient town, people here used to lived in old messuages, but more and more tall buildings were built during these years, people move to the flat and overlook the beautiful view enjoy the comfortable life. Nowadays the designers usually integrated modern buildings concepts with Western and Eastern culture to make the buildings more different. I think this change is great because it makes Suzhou become more modernization.

My hometown has pretty much everything, we have few tech companies, industries, schools, community colleges, restaurants and many more. My hometown is clean and safe place. But, we don't have enough parks for children, young people and elders. So i would prefer to have a big park in my hometown, with big playground, lots of trees and flowers to keep the environment clean, walking path, attracting water falls and landscape, small lake/pond all these makes the town look amazing.

First of all, most of the children are stuck with their play station, computer games, they don't have much physical activity and also out hometown don't have enough park to play. Playing is very essential for child's development, it may be mental or physical. Children are usually attracted by colourful play area, innovative and imaginary surrounding and equiped play areas with climbing, sliding, swinging and sports activities makes them enthusiastic. Parks are full of play, with learning and development opportunities; climbing trees, rolling down hill, playing pond, kit flying, the list is endless.

In short, Having a big park is beneficent to all age group people in my hometown. Children can play different sports, elders will have clean place and full of greenery atmosphere, young people can hangout with friends and family. A innovative, greenery and aesthetic environment of pond, landscape appeals the beauty of the hometown.

Just like the other people in the world I love my hometown, because I was born, have grown up and have lots of friends there. Most importantly, many of my pleasant memories in life relates to my childhood in this city. However some people my age would say that they do not like their hometowns as much as I do, as they see other cities in the country and compare them with their own one in terms of recreational centers, job opportunities and public transportation system. Thus, I think some changes are needed to be made to make this city more attractive to these people.

First, building a new place for youths to spend their spare times is an urgent need of my hometown. Young people desire a place to hang out with their friends and enjoy their free times, but the only option available for them is a small park that was built many years ago. Thus, if a new center, such as a new park or cinema, is built they will have more options for spending their leisure times, consequently makes them more interested in their hometowns.

Second, the public transportation system of my hometown has to be changed to make it more convenient and faster. Existing public buses are very old and are not enough to cope with the current population of the city. This has made some problems for residents of city, particularly young people, since you have to spend a lot of time waiting for a bus to arrive. In addition, they are very slow and so crowded that you would not find enough oxygen to breathe. Therefore, adding some new buses to the existing ones, and accordingly increasing the quality of public transportation system is a method to appeal the people in my age.

Finally, new job opportunities are needed to be created in my hometown. Increasing unemployment rate, and as a result, progressive number of jobless young people is another serious problem in my hometown. These days, those who are unable to find a job have to migrate to neighboring cities in search of a proper work. One side effect of this phenomenon is that the amount of young individuals in city is decreasing sharply. In this regard, constructing new factories, which could provide new job opportunities and employ many of youths as workers, would be one possible solution to solve this problem and hinder this trend of migration.

To sum up, there are some immediate measures that should be taken to make my hometown more appealing for young people. I hope that all of these changes could result in a better condition for youths to live and lead them to like their hometowns more than before.

Hi Quang, though your introduction is quite original, I am afraid the rest of your essay has quite a few problems. You have great examples with specific details, but your word usage is incorrect in some places and there are a few very confusing sentences. Here are some specific comments and suggestions:

Every individual has a multitude of memories of their hometowns, be they unforgettable or flawed. So, here is how you can utilize this opportunity to share your cherishing memories about your special place.

It has a breathtaking view of picturesque landscapes with rolling mountains and greenish lakes. However, due to the increasing economy, a number of businesses, especially in sugarcane, are invested in my hometown making it very promising.

First of all, my hometown should have more and more foreign companies. In Vietnam, now, there are many people graduating from universities every year. Most of them want to challenge themselves and apply what they have learned into the reality. And foreign companies are their good choices, in there they can enrich their knowledge, improve their skills and get promotion. 2ff7e9595c
